Dear 5 AM,
For far too many days I've greeted your coming with wakefulness. Let me assure you that this will be the last time for quite some time. I need my scheduled sleep & you need your quiet loneliness, so we shall part as amicable acquaintances whose paths are sure to cross again someday. In the meantime, you will not miss me, nor I you for I am determined & I am sure you are relieved.
