Impending Move

Usually with a move on the horizon I am thrilled to start packing weeks, even months in advance, but this time each time I start, my vigor lasts only about 5 minutes. It's not that I'm not excited about this move. It's a combination of a lack of energy & an intense urge to throw everything away & start from scratch. Sadly, I know disposing of all our earthly goods is not the best option, but you better believe DI's going to get a hefty load from this couple in the next few days.

Here are my thoughts on moving to Washington:
1. I've only been there twice & I only know my in-laws so this is a bit scary.
2. I know from past moves the emotional turmoil that comes from leaving behind the comforts of familiarity & well-established friendships, and I dread the coming tears & loss of adjacent friends.
3. I don't know if I'm physically capable of organizing something as demanding as a major move.
4. I know this is the right thing to do, so it'll all work out somehow, but the map to and from somehow is ever illusive.
5. I need prayers for strength & courage in the coming days...
